ABOUT US
All about the Rotary Adventurer
WHO WE ARE
We are a straightforward, friendly Rotary club open to anyone who would like to make a difference. When asking members "who we are", they say:

“We are a group of people from all backgrounds, ages and walks of life…”
“You don’t need to be retired or wealthy, you just need the spirit to help.”
“Family-friendly, open to all, hands on, and full of adventure.”
"We are real people who love helping others"
We meet on Zoom, which keeps costs down and allows members to take part wherever they live. Our club is developing practical and meaningful service projects to support local communities, as well as charities further afield. We also provide opportunities for young people through Rotakids, Interact and Rotaract.
In addition to our own work, we assist other Rotary clubs with their projects and share ideas that may be helpful to them. Many Rotary clubs meet weekly for a meal, but we understand that busy lives and rising costs can make this difficult. As a “passport” club, we offer flexibility while still giving members the full Rotary experience. (You can learn more about passport clubs HERE.)
If new members have an idea for a community project in their town or village, we are here to support them in getting it started. Bring your ideas to The Adventurers, and together we will help turn them into something positive for your community.

JOIN US

Joining The Adventurers means being part of a modern, flexible Rotary club that fits around real life. Instead of expensive weekly dinners and rigid routines, we meet online via Zoom
This makes it easier for people with busy jobs, families or caring responsibilities to enjoy all the benefits of Rotary - friendship, purpose and connection - without sacrificing time or budget
If you’ve ever wanted to do more for your community but found traditional Rotary meetings hard to commit to, this passport-style club is designed to be accessible, affordable and convenient.
As a member you’ll be able to take part in practical, meaningful service projects that make a visible difference locally, nationally and internationally. We support communities across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, partner with charities further afield, and create opportunities for young people through programmes such as RotaKids, Interact and Rotaract.
You’ll meet like-minded people from different backgrounds, build confidence, develop new skills and have the chance to lead or launch projects in your own town or village.
If you’re looking for a friendly Rotary club that offers community, personal development and real impact, all in a flexible, online format - The Adventurers is a great place to start.
